Training

Part of LAUT’s mission is to serve as a training hub, with a focus on supporting young researchers. In June 2022, the first call for applications was launched for the LAUT Training Program, aimed at undergraduate students. The program offers up to ten participants the opportunity to engage directly in research activities and develop skills in methodology, analysis, writing, and communicating findings to diverse audiences. It also includes workshops on research methods and guided study sessions on freedoms and democracy, led by LAUT researchers and invited guests.

The program provides financial aid scholarships from the Mattos Filho Institute for Black and Indigenous candidates.
